HenHouse Brewing Company Opened New Tasting Room in Santa Rosa
Attention beer lovers: HenHouse Brewing Company opened a new tasting room in Santa Rosa! For the past two years HenHouse has been brewing in Petaluma Hills Brewing Company‘s facility while they worked on getting their own space. On March 5th, 2016 HenHouse Brewing Company opened their new 21 tap tasting room on Bellevue Ave. with plenty of space for both the taproom and a brewhouse. Since their start in 2011, HenHouse Brewing Company has been passionate about keeping their business local by using products sourced right here in Sonoma County. Here’s a quote from their Facebook page:
“Our own Scott Goyne led a brave crew of awesome artisans to create a tasting room that drew on our local community in every way. The Sonoma County redwood in the tasting room was milled at the historic Sturgeon’s Steam Mill outside of Sebastopol, the coffee we’ll have on tap was roasted by Acre Coffee in Petaluma, our shirts are made and printed in Petaluma, and our friends at Red Horse Pizza will be with us on the weekend to provide awesome pairing opportunities! At every step of the process we asked ourselves how we could work within the Sonoma County community and support the people we live next to, work with and share beers with. The result is a true Sonoma County community space (that serves super tasty beer!).”
At HenHouse Brewing Company you won’t be bored with their selection of craft beer. For example, their Conceptual Nightmare Imperial Stout, was brewed using cake, doughnuts, sour patch kids, fruit, Mountain Dew, waffles, Doritos and whatever other foods the staff decided to throw in! Yep, what sounds like a shopping list for a late-night convenient store run has all been brewed into the beer! If the Conceptual Nightmare wasn’t adventurous enough for you, HenHouse also offers an Oyster Stout which is brewed with whole oysters sourced from Hog Island Oyster Co. in Tomales Bay. Although they make some wild selections, HenHouse is anything but a novelty brewery. Some of HenHouses’s other great brews are their Belgian Style Golden Ale, Stony Point Sour, and An Honest Day’s Work red rye saison. If you’re looking for a new place to enjoy a pint (or 3) with friends, go check out HenHouse Brewing Company‘s new tasting room!
They’re located at 322 Bellevue Ave, Santa Rosa.
Hours: Wednesday – Friday 4pm to 9pm and Saturday – Sunday 11am to 9pm
Cheers to the growing craft beer community in Sonoma County!
